consumerism et al

bought two dresses from grace, a dark plum sleeved dress with flower print & a light brown shift dress. eyelovit!! (via paypal accounts of: czar and my boy:)

and get this. a pair of pink stripe button earring for ten php. haha.// got a green pair for czar who in exchange will get me a bottle of iced tea. twenks.

i know my clothes hardly fit my closet and i'd need to get rid of the things i hardly wear anymore.. i've had this nagging thought which started after receiving kiss' sms last night(fyi-ing me about rustan's sale and stuff she snagged-woe is me..); am thinking, if i had this job(on different terms-say etel's terms) and earning wut am earning now, i'd think consumerism would be my keyword.

how can two cities make one's life soooo different?

anyweis, i read somewhere that we are not to want more(on a worship service from 4 years back, our pastor told us that why do we want sooo many things, when the stuff that we want boils down to being made outta plastics, sayang our money on those plastics dawwww..)

but, honestly, all i want for now is; level-headedness slash gentleness for me, huuuuuuuge understanding from miko, pink-uhness of health and great jobs for my nuclear family, and a small house with a front lawn and white picket fence.
(and if i may add, an interesting job that makes a difference in other people's lives.. wherewutwhen?)
