..the house that you had been saving to live in

Variations on a Theme by William Carlos Williams, Kenneth Koch

I chopped down the house that you had been saving to live in next summer.
I am sorry, but it was morning, and I had nothing to do
and its wooden beams were so inviting.

we moved. i documented the mess i made in amapola, will upload the vid clip later on in life..:)

saturday morning, i started packing, gawd, i had filled 10 huge paper bags, one gym bag and one trolley with clothes and stuff. i left my bed frame in amapola, i felt a small pang not saying goodbye to davey. the past year on sundays when i had nothing to do, or nowhere to go, i'd get out of my apartment and go downstairs to find the little boy playing with his toy cars alone and i'd join him and make kwento, that thought kinda made me feel like i left a friend in some city.

gelo has been great. i teasingly call him gelo, my hero cuz during the move, he wuz the one who carried the a/c, my queen mattress, and all stuff that's heavy. not once he complained about the task that was accidentally given to him, i felt uber guilty cuz after the move he had rashes allover and his allergic rhinitis acted up.

on our first night at the new place, he was like: i never saw you look this tired, daw nalooy ko sa imo being stuck in such a small place.

almost in tears when i told him, i kinda miss being in amapola cuz i'm not exactly comfortable with our shared room being soooo tiny.

he told me that'll be our second to the last move.

i know it'll be.

(oh, he gave me a promise ring yesterday:) kilig***
